Startup Institute is seeking a detail-oriented individual with a passion for education to join the team as the program manager for our *new* part-time program. As the program manager you will serve as the primary coordinator of all learning activities for our part-time program. Working closely with the program director, you will be responsible for all program operations and logistics, including scheduling daily learning activities, keeping facilities in top-condition, and serving as our primary instructor contact.
You will be motivated by playing an integral role on a team delivering a transformative educational experience. As a member of our part-time program team you’ll set precedents that successfully adapt our full-time program to a new nights and weekends format.
The successful candidate will demonstrate excellence for operations, collaboration, customer service, communications, and an ability to thrive amidst ambiguity.
2+ years experience in an operations role
Must be available a minimum of two nights a week + every other Saturday
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong interest in education and working with industry practitioners
Experience working in early or growth-stage startups
Project management and/or planning in an educational environment
Experience in edtech or higher education a plus
Assist Director in managing all day-to-day logistics and operations
Recruit professionals from the local startup ecosystem to lead sessions
Build and organize class schedule for each cohort
Interface with students on a daily basis
Support instructors in delivering a world-class learning experience for our students
Conduct coaching and mentoring sessions with students
Coordinate weekly NPS surveys to ensure student satisfaction
