Springboard Enterprises, the non-profit venture catalyst for women entrepreneurs

Amy Millman is the Co-Founder and President of Springboard Enterprises, a venture catalyst and national non-profit organization accelerating women's access to the equity markets through sourcing, coaching, showcasing, and supporting women-led companies. As one of the founders, she built an organization that facilitates connections to sources of financial and human capital for these emerging-growth enterprises. Springboard has assisted hundreds of women entrepreneurs in raising billions in investments and connecting with thousands of expert resources.

Prior to Springboard, Ms. Millman served as Executive Director of the National Women's Business Council, a federal commission providing advice and counsel to the President and Congress on issues of importance to women business owners. During her tenure, the Council launched several public and private sector initiatives that measurably increased access to capital and market opportunities for women.

Ms. Millman began her career working on Capitol Hill and spent 20 years representing corporate, trade association and government interests, including the US Occupational Safety and Health Administration, Philip Morris Corporation (now Altria), the American Trucking Association and Congressional Quarterly, Inc. She serves on the boards and advisory councils of Enterprising Women, Purdue University Discovery Park and the Women's Leadership Exchange, and sits on the Inclusion and Development committees of the JumpStart board. Ms. Millman received her BA from Carnegie Mellon University and MA from The George Washington University.
