Brandon is a Market Strategy Manager at OpenView Venture Partners where he works with OpenView’s Portfolio Company CEOs, Heads of Marketing and Heads of Product to develop and refine their go to market and whole product strategies. He leverages market research techniques to help these companies identify ways to accelerate customer acquisition and grow the value of their current customer base. He brings a unique perspective to the table having advised more than 20 hyper growth B2B SaaS executive teams across application layer, infrastructure and vertical SaaS markets.
Prior to OpenView, Brandon was an Associate in the competition practice at Charles River Associates where he focused on merger strategy, merger regulatory review and antitrust litigation. In that capacity, he worked on several blockbuster mergers in the technology world and helped develop strategies on how to best position mergers for regulatory approval, as well as assist the defense on front page Wall Street Journal antitrust lawsuits in the technology space.
Brandon graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a master’s degree in public policy economics with a concentration in statistics and economic analysis. He also received a bachelor’s degree from Occidental College in Spanish and Diplomacy & World Affairs, and is a certified Scrum Master and Product Owner.
