Jim McAvoy has over twenty-five years of experience maximizing sales results for clients in a wide range of industries from entrepreneurial and startup firms to Fortune 500 companies--helping clients to secure $60 million of incremental revenue to date.

McAvoy holds a BA in Economics and History from the College of William & Mary and has attained the Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) designation which is conferred by a partnership of the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

As a member of the Startup Institute faculty, Jim leads workshops that focus on critical selling & lead-generation skills. For the past seven years, he has guest lectured at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business in the Entrepreneurial Selling Course and is the author of #LEADS to SALES. Jim has also led a workshop for 1871-Chicago's Entrepreneurial Hub for Digital Startups.
