With over 15 years of experience in sales, management and recruiting, Scott Peterson, founder and CEO of Carver Peterson Consulting, knows how to improve workplace culture, increase employee engagement and maximize revenue across a variety of industries. Using strengths-based leadership, Peterson works with businesses to identify and develop the top talents of individual workers to improve overall team performance.

Under the principle of “Valuing differences by understanding strengths,” he founded Carver Peterson Consulting in 2014. The overarching mission is to help businesses drive revenue and maximize profitability by improving sales efficiency, effectiveness and engagement. Providing sales, talent and leadership and management solutions for businesses of all stages and sizes, the results for his clients have been immediate—some reporting 60 percent revenue increases over a calendar year.

A natural leader, Peterson has led winning teams at every step of his career by focusing on strengths, employee engagement and building a performance orientated culture. Working for one of the largest staffing firms in the county, his operation consisted of 55 employees, 200+ active customers and over $55 million in annual revenue. His teams were diverse in every sense of the word and he consistently led the organization in employee retention.

Based in Chicago, Scott Peterson is an Oregon native. A former walk-on for Oregon State University Men’s Basketball team, the same qualities that served him as an athlete have directly translated to his business success. He is hard working, goal-oriented, coachable, and a great teammate, consistently seeking out opportunities to lead. In Chicago, he dedicates his time, energy and expertise by volunteering in the technology sector at 1871 and the Startup Institute, as well as with non-profit organizations, The Cara Program and Common Threads.
