Come meet us in Boston, Chicago, and New York to learn more about our culture at our Info Sessions May 6th!

A HANDS-ON CURRICULUM FOCUSED ON SKILLS & MINDSET

In addition to skills training in one of four technical tracks, all students receive instruction and coaching on emotional intelligence, communication skills, collaboration techniques, and the culture of high-growth companies. Instruction is delivered via hands-on projects, as well as lectures and labs by the best and brightest practitioners in Boston.

Scroll down for full curriculum details on the Core and technical track options.

WHY DO WE TEACH THE CORE? READ OUR RESEARCH →

The Core

The Core Curriculum is the heart of the Startup Institute experience. It focuses on the skills and mindsets that separate great hires from good ones. As the backbone of the program, the Core makes up the bulk of weeks 1, 7 & 8 and makes weekly appearances as well.

Emotional Intelligence Icon

Emotional Intelligence

Our core curriculum is designed to cultivate emotional intelligence, the #1 quality our partner companies look for in new hires. Cross-track workshops and one-on-one career mentorship empower students to strengthen their emotional intelligence quotients, promising their careers will thrive long-term.

Culture Icon

Culture & Communication

The hyper-fast pace, flat structure, and limited resources of startups create adventurous work, not for the meek of heart. We'll help you identify communication patterns, and bring in founders for intimate discussions about their own company cultures and trajectories. Our cross-discipline partner project will put your findings to the test, onsite at a high-growth company.

The Core strengthens the weaknesses you didn’t even know you had. It’s hard to describe the personal confidence that comes with this kind of self-transformation.
