I graduated in 2008 from the University of UMass Lowell with a BFA in Fine Arts with a focus on Graphic Design and a minor in Aesthetics and Critical Studies.
Since 2011, I’ve been working at Sermo, the largest online social network for physicians in the US, and now, internationally. In my first years at Sermo I worked with top 10 Pharmaceutical companies in the US to create landing pages.
In the last couple years, Sermo switched gears and built a formal Product arm with a focus in Agile methodologies that houses the UX team. I interviewed, hired and trained two designers to take over my responsibilities with the Client Services team. With that transition complete, I was able to move into the UX team.
We were a small, but agile team of three. In the last year, the UX designed an mobile app, help internationalize the community, and built a new product named “Groups”, and started work on the next implementation of our self-serve market research product MedLIVE.
