Peggy Yu is Managing Director at Startup Institute New York and VP of Global Business Development. Previous to Startup Institute, Peggy served as interim director and associate director of the Arthur Rock Center for Entrepreneurship at Harvard Business School. The Rock Center serves as a hub for entrepreneurial activities on campus and interfaces with entrepreneurial alumni throughout their careers. Her interest in technology and entrepreneurship is longstanding, starting from her days in the transportation industry where she worked in sales, operations, and logistics at NOL Group.
Following business school, Peggy worked for C Space (formerly Communispace) and then moved to San Francisco and joined CBS Interactive, where she was responsible for the monetization strategy and business development partnerships of CNET Download.com, the highest trafficked CBSi site. She is currently co-founder of an early-stage venture and spends time advising and coaching those interested in working at startups and in the innovation economy.
Peggy holds a MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in Communication Studies from Northwestern University.
