I am a people person. I thrive where I can constantly learn and where collaboration in finding creative solutions is routine. My young career includes a particularly diverse set of experiences, showing my penchants for quickly learning, adapting to and balancing new tasks. Having worked with many student groups, I have also learned to become effective with the time, financial and social capital available to me. As social capital was often the only form of capital which I could augment, my defining characteristic of individualization became refined. I genuinely enjoy getting to know people, learning about them and their background. By understanding people, I am able to work with them in a personalized manner to get things done while maintaining great and mutually beneficial relationships.
What are you strengths and weaknesses?
I found the Clifton Strengthsfinder 2.0 very accurate in my case. The results indicate an: Ideation, Connectedness, Individualization, Intellection and Activator type personality. I am passionate and constantly thinking, which can be weaknesses as well, since I often let work encroach on rest time and may become engrossed.
My greatest weakness is not my lack of organizational ability, but the limited time I choose to spend on organizing. I often impulsively get going without first taking a moment to organize my thoughts in a form which others may easily look at and understand. A bad side effect of my passionate personality is also my attention to details. This may distract me from the larger picture, though it also means I tend to notice and remember things others do not.
