Come meet us in Chicago (5/29) to learn more about our culture at our Info Session!

TL;DR: I'm a jack of all trades with a passion for learning. How can I help you succeed?

How can I help you succeed?

Over the course of my career I have served many roles. I have been an engineer, a teacher, an omelet chef, a software developer, a data analyst, and much more.

I am currently focusing my efforts on developing my sales and business development skills and getting involved in the Boston area startup community.

I am always looking to learn more and meet awesome people, so please let me know what I can do for you.

What skills do you bring to a project team?

I bring many skills to a project team, depending on the needs of the team.

Here are some skills I've put to use in the past three months (in alphabetical order):
- Arduino
- Camtasia
- Data and Metrics Analytics
- Data Mining
- Hardware Prototyping
- Integrating RESTful APIs
- Pixelmator
- Final Cut Pro
- SQL
- Web Scraping

Your profile sounds good, but what do others have to say about you?

These are actual comments about me from previous managers and coworkers:

"Steve has been a thought leader on the team. He is able to see all dimensions of a problem and design innovative solutions that are high quality, flexible, and easy to maintain." - Tom C

"He has been a valuable asset to the team … We never would have been able to transition [our other resources] to this other critical work without Stephen, thank you!" - Lisa H

"Stephen appears to be very analytical by nature and approaches new challenges in a logical manner." - Pete W

But wait! There's more!

Those comments are all clearly positive, so here are some pieces of constructive criticism I've received and what I've done to address them.

"Steve sometimes struggles to manage the critical path of his workload appropriately" - Tom C
What I've done: I have learned to break out my work on an effort based basis to determine how many hours I need to allocate to each task.

"He should allow himself extra time for travel and/or setup and anticipate encountering problems that may impede progress" - Wendy S
What I've done: I start my day the night before by checking my calendar, planning out my day, and preparing any materials I will need.
